Nexus Veterinary Specialists is proud to welcome Dr. Ryan Gallagher to the Nexus family. As a highly experienced Board-Certified Veterinary Neurologist, Dr. Gallagher will be leading the new Nexus Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery Center-- Baltimore's new hub for surgical and medical treatment of neurological conditions.
Dr. Gallagher originally hails from San Diego, California. He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of California, Davis. After completing veterinary school, Dr. Gallagher completed a one-year rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a three year residency in Neurology at North Carolina State University. Dr. Gallagher has been practicing veterinary neurology in Maryland for over a decade, with his particular interests being in the medical and surgical management of spinal disorders. Dr. Gallagher particularly enjoys the bonds created with clients and patients during the consult process, helping families find the best treatment options to meet their needs. Outside of work, Dr. Gallagher enjoys running and cycling.
